Ik hoor Mark Scholz zeggen dat Airbag (#1703) uit Argentinië komt, maar dat klopt niet!! Ja, er is een Argentijnse Airbag, maar die maakt heel andere muziek. Hier betreft het Airbag uit Noorwegen, onder leiding van de geweldige gitarist Bjorn Riis (hoe Noors wil je het hebben…?!;-) )
Op nr. 1781 Ayreon Arjen Lucassen met Intergalatic Space Crusaders. Jammer dat de dj geen flauw idee heeft waar hij over praat. Het was een projectje dat hij met Bruce Dickinson heeft opgezet, maar dat werkte niet , dus is hij maar voorzichzelf begonnen…zegt hij.
Wat een onzin. Arjen had toen al meerdere cd’s uitbebracht onder de naam Ayreon.Neem b.v. Into the Electric Castle van 1998. Dat is uiteindelijk als live concert in sept.2019 in de 013 in Tilburg gepresenteerd. Binnen enkele uren uitverkocht, waardoor er nog een dag bijkwam, die ook in 1 dag uitverkocht was. Dat alles van de cd, die er al in 1998 was. En nog veel meer. Jammer dat zo’n groot artiest als Arjen in Nederland nauwelijks de aandacht krijgt die hij verdient. Als je niet weet hoe het is, zeg dan niks!
